ASTROLOGICAL LANGUAGE -- INSTRUCTIONS

- Planets should be treated as verb/subjects most of the time (because planets have the most weight).
- Signs will almost always MODIFY (as adverbs or adjectives) the actions and activities described by planets and houses.
- Houses will sometimes modify planets (as adverbs or adjectives).
- Houses can also become the subjects of sentences (as in analyzing a specific life area) and then the planet in the house should be the primary description (or object) with the sign providing additional nuances.
Here are some examples—

House as Subject; PLANET AS DESCRIPTION
Mars in 1st: You are active/courageous/impulsive, etc.
Venus in 1st: You identify with pleasure, possessions, beauty.
Mercury in 1st: You instinctively think/communicate.
Moon in 1st: Your natural action is to nurture (or want to be nurtured).
Sun in 1st: You are dramatic, generous, enthusiastic, excited.
Jupiter in 1st: You identify with ideas, ideals, education, inspiration, and the greater good.
Saturn in the 1st: You instinctively take responsibility, deal with limits and structure.
Uranus in the 1st: Your natural action is to rebel, experiment, break rules.
Neptune in 1st: You are sensitive, compassionate, intuitive.
Pluto in 1st: You instinctively probe, seek deeper meaning, look beneath the surface in life (and in yourself).
Boldface is key phrase for 1st house. Italic is key words for planet occupying 1st house.
ETC., ETC. Obviously, the actions depicted above could be modified by adverb associated with whatever signs the above planets are in. (Continued....)
