Comet Fever

George Noonan, an astrological researcher and expert in ancient astrology, is currently investigating the meaning of comets. Ancient astrology observed what was visible in the sky, and bright comets were among the phenomena considered highly important. Their portent for the world was judged according to the constellation toward which their tail pointed. Dr. Noonan feels that they are only important while they are visible without the aid of telescopes. He has prepared a list of the periods during this century when comets were visible, and he is looking for individuals born during these periods who are willing to share their birth data with him and to discuss the major events in their lives.
In his lecture for the recent conference of the International Society for Astrological Research, Dr. Noonan discussed a variety of individuals involved with power who either were born while a comet was visible, or who experienced drastic events shortly after a transiting comet aspected their natal chart. Several of our former Presidents were among his subjects, including all of those who were assassinated. Noonan also discussed the chart of Patty Hearst who had Mars conjunct her fourth cusp, stars traditionally associated with the nature of Mars on the other three major angles (Ascendant, MC, and Descendant), and who also was born with a comet visible. The comet was in her seventh house at 24 Pisces trioctile Saturn, square Jupiter, and quincunx both Neptune and Pluto, forming a yod.
Noonan’s theory is that comets are similar to a powerful Mars in nature. I am reserving judgment until we have much more evidence, but am eager to investigate all natural phenomena in the sky as a potential key to understanding the cosmos. If any of our readers were born in the intervals listed in our table, they are invited to contact George Noonan directly at 13929 Tucker Ave., Sylmar, CA 91342. We would also be interested in hearing of any results.
