Astrology Summer 1989
Maritha and I will be teaching at the Feathered Pipe Ranch this year, as usual. We hope that some of our readers can join us. This year’s seminar runs from arrival day on June 20 to departure day on June 29. The ranch is just a few miles west of Helena, Montana, at an elevation of five thousand feet, in the middle of forests and mountains. There are log cabins, a hot tub and sauna, a little lake, miles of trails, fantastic food with a big salad bar included at lunch and dinner. Maritha works more with the beginners while I take the advanced students but we are all together for the evening experiences. Where else can you get an overview of the whole field of astrology and the equivalent of group psychotherapy and a great vacation all condensed into just over one week? If anyone did not receive a brochure from the Feathered Pipe Foundation and is thinking of coming, write or phone us to send you one.
The other event of the year for astrologers is the UAC conference in New Orleans in mid July. We will be glad to send you a flyer if you haven’t received one already. UAC is jointly sponsored by ISAR, NCGR, and AFAN. At least 100 speakers will be there, many from other countries. I have just worked out the details to have ISAR provide a scholarship to permit the attendance of a woman astrologer-psychologist from Russia. We are eager to hear what is happening with astrology in the U.S.S.R. We hope to see many of our readers in New Orleans in July.
It is less relevant for astrologers, but I will also be speaking for a conference in Denver in mid-August. Other speakers will be discussing alternate or complementary methods of healing, borderline technology, UFOs, psychic phenomena, etc. It will be a mutable dilemma’s delight. For a brochure, write to Dean Stonier, 3273 E. 119th Place, Thornton, CO 80233. I’m looking forward to all of the preceding with great anticipation!
